Who has joined as first woman bus driver of the DTC - Vankadarath Saritha
Vankadarath Saritha became the first woman bus driver of the Delhi
Transport Corporation (DTC). She is a 30-year-old driver from Nalgonda
in Andhra Pradesh. From 20th April 2015, she will start working
officially in day-time duty at the Sarojini Nagar depot.
Saritha
has worked as a bus driver earlier in Hyderabad and has started her
career as an autorickshaw driver. Prior to her selection in DTC, she was
working as a taxi driver in Delhi.
